Here are some of the more commonly asked questions:

I heard a Secret Word on the radio, but don't know what to do with it. Where do I enter?

To increase your odds of winning, The Secret Contest is limited to a small number of participants at a time. When it is your turn to play, you will receive an email with instructions on where to enter the Secret Words. If you haven't received an email with these instructions yet, be paitent and keep an eye on your inbox!

How was I chosen to participate?

There are a couple of reasons you have been selected:

• The Secret Contest sponsors and partners look for customers and fans to reward them for their loyalty.
• We’re also looking for others who could become new customers and fans.

How many prizes are there?

A lot! There are winners every weekday, Monday through Friday. The Daily Prizes are always worth up to $100. Plus, there are Weekly Prizes valued at $500 and Monthly Prizes valued at $1,000. For a sample of prizes awarded, check out the Prize page.

How are the winners chosen?

All winners are picked by random drawings. Daily winners are chosen only from entries on that day, so be sure to play each day to win. Weekly winners are chosen from all entries received that week. Grand Prizes are drawn from all winners received.

How will I know when I win?

Winners will be contacted via email. Winners have one (1) business day to respond to the prize notification email with the requested information to claim their prize. Be sure to add [email protected] to your contacts to ensure that you receive the prize notification email!

How do I claim my prizes?

Most of the time, winners will receive an electronic gift card via email. That’s another reason to be sure our email is added to your contact list! You wouldn’t want your prize going into a spam or trash folder. In some instances, a gift card, check (for cash prizes) or physical prize will be shipped to your home address.

What are the odds of winning a prize?

Odds all depend on the total number of entries. Each Secret Contest is limited only to those invited to participate. As a result, there’s a fraction of the total number of players compared to almost any other sweepstakes or contest. This greatly increases your chance to win. You can control your odds simply by playing more! The more you play, the better your chances. Each Secret Word you collect is another entry.

If I win one of the daily prizes, am I still eligible for a Weekly or Monthly Prize?

Absolutely! You’re always eligible every day for every prize.

Do entries ever expire?

The entries never expire, so your chances to win a Monthly Prize continue to increase over time.

How long do I have to get credit for my entry?

It depends on how the Secret Word is distributed. For example, Secret Words announced on a radio or TV station must be entered within 30 minutes to be valid. Other words may be distributed by email, online, via Social Media or on location. The expiration date on those words vary.

Can I invite others to play?

Yes! Direct them to the Secret Contest application form. Don’t worry about hurting your chances to win, though. We only invite new players when other players drop out. So your chances to win are always high. Please do not share the Secret Contest entry link. Doing so will increase the number of players and limit your chances to win.

Why is this contest a secret?

The problem with many sweepstakes is that your chance to win is small when tens of thousands of people enter. Most players never win, and they usually forget the even entered. The Secret Contest makes it more fun to play because it’s easy, your chance to win is much greater and you can control your odds with more entries. And, our sponsors and partners get more of your attention! It’s a win/win!

When I win prizes, what happens with my taxes?

Per federal regulations, we provide tax documentation for all prizes valued at $600 or more. Winners are responsible for their reporting. If you have questions, check with your tax advisor.

I won, but didn’t get my prize. What should I do?

First, check your spam or trash folder. The email with your prize may have been filtered by your email provider. If you still can’t find it, contact us and we’ll help sort it out.
